Bottegando Italia Watches

Our watches combine our expertise in the art of Maki-e with the finest components and materials.

For our watches, we use exclusively mechanical movements, for their charm and out of respect for watchmaking tradition. The movements that power our watches are extremely robust and reliable, capable of lasting over time and guaranteeing precision for years to come.

Each watch is individually and carefully assembled, testing the movement and the water resistance of the cases. We use only stainless surgical steel cases equipped with sapphire crystal because we want our watches to be durable and usable in the most diverse conditions.

Our straps are also made by the most skilled craftsmen with the finest and most sophisticated leathers and materials to ensure an optimal fit and to highlight the personality of each watch.

Each of our watches is a unique numbered piece, stamped and signed by the artist who created the Maki-e work. Just like our pens, all our watches have dials hand-lacquered with Japanese Urushi and carefully decorated and finished using Maki-e techniques and powders of gold, silver, and other precious metals.

Our watches are works of art to wear and pass down for generations.
